Bonding at Nook Café

How to get there:

From UP Diliman Campus, you may ride IKOT jeep and ask the driver to drop you off at “Krus na Ligas”. IKOT jeep fare is 6.50Php per person. At Krus na Ligas you can ride a tricycle and tell the driver that you’re going to Nook Café, we pay them 25Php(2 person). But if you are familiar with Maginhawa St., you can walk to save money. ^__^

Nook Café can cater up to 5 groups only, so I advise you to come early to avoid the long waiting line. And for you to enjoy everything inside the café.

Luckily, we come on time and we get the last spot of available seats. We got the owl’s eye painted table, it was beautiful with different pattern, shapes and colors. I don’t know what they call it but it really looks like an owl’s eye.

While waiting for our order, I ask the cashier if we could borrow a chess board.

Aside from board games, you can also borrow their books and Harry Potter robes, wand and other items (just handle the borrowed items with care). This place is really for Harry Potter lovers/fans.

There are also some books and items to borrow upstairs.

In our first game, I had the black chess piece and my brother choose the white chess piece.

I won the first round and he won at the second round.

While we are playing they already serve the Butter Beer. It taste like something you haven’t taste before. You really have to try this drink. ^__^

Aside from the Butter Beer, I also ordered Cheese Potato Wedges and Goya-zilla. It all taste delicious. And they have a generous serving.

The price was good. Their staffs are very approachable. They even let us transfer to the second floor, because I wanted to sit in that hanging net chair.
